big sir Clothing Brand Project

Prior to launching the nonbinary big sir clothing brand, owner KB wanted to create a full visual identity. KB wanted someone to help incorporate their ideas of integrating the nonbinary color palette along with the unisex clothing visual into robust branding to use for packaging, promotional material, social media, and more.

KB came to me with a few sketches of what they wanted for the logo. I created a character as the logo design, with no face and details to emphasize how the clothing brand is for everyone. They can imagine themselves or others in the clothes without any expectation of who its for. The color palette is based on the nonbinary flag colors and we used this in the text and logo design with gentle neutrals to compliment it. The brand pattern is the nonbinary symbol, alternating directions to show how the brand is what you make it, you choose what you want to be.
